as it comes together

It feels as if the pot is beginning to brew now and change is happening all around.
Having therapy animals has been a huge success. While I have started very small the change in the environment, in my clinical practice and in my hopefulness for the future has been tremendous.

My co-therapists are paid with succulent vegetation and lots of love. As evidenced by their increasing girth.

Some here some there

I have been thinking about living at the same place as I work.

I could hire a cleaner to keep everything amazing and sparkling.

I could still have a flatmate.

I could have a sign on the fence that says " 'thrive', by appointment only " to avoid drop ins.

For complex cases I could do out calls to schools or other appropriate places, even home visits.

Gentle loving understanding

We would make research an integral part of our practice.

It's not enough to simply know it works or feel the shifts and changes.

This week has taught me the importance of easily quantifiable research...

Evidence, solidity...

A series of moments in time captured

Mapping a pathway forward

Knowing from where we have come

Where we are now

Where we are heading towards...

Water wise

No taps?

No problem...

An opening

It wouldn't be just limited to social workers or art therapists. A chiropractor could hire a room, or a massage therapist, or a speech therapist... the opportunities are almost endless.

We could even have resident artists using the space and displaying their work in the rooms for sale or just observation.

To make it all a bit more sustainable I could live there. In a few rooms at the back. There would already be studio spaces if I needed them...

It has the potential to be incredible.

I wonder about laws about using residential spaces for commercial purposes...

I will have to choose my location very carefully, unless it lands in my lap!

a sustaining idea...

group supervision... small, established groups with a structured agenda and model, a set fee

a professional development space as a venue for hire

I may just need an entire house to pull this off.
